What’s your 2040?
Film screening and workshop
What’s Your 2040? is an imagining of what the world could look like in 2040, if we all decided to start doing things differently, right now. The result is the era-defining documentary 2040 – a meticulously researched plea for the adoption of community-building, energy-generating, connection-forging, forest-renewing, ocean-replenishing measures that science tells us will reset our planet’s health, drive our economies and improve lives across the globe.
The Mindset Shift
Over the course of the five hours, we will explore what we imagine our 2040 can or should look like. We will reflect on the current initiatives and trends at regional, national and global levels that are nudging us in the direction of a future we aspire to, with a world that works for 100% of humanity without degradation to Earth, our home.
The workshop will revolve around a screening of the 2040 movie and a facilitated sense-making conversation before and after. The initiative has been sparked by the work of Action Station around creating a vision for the future of Aotearoa New Zealand in 2040, and by the Tomorrow Makers foundation around multi-generational decision making. It will be co-facilitated by Philippe Coullomb (Openfield) and Silvia Zuur (Enspiral & PwC).
The price of the ticket includes the film and a light lunch.
