The Mindset of Design story

In 2018, Creative HQ, Openfield and Springload ran the inaugural ‘Experience Week’, to build the knowledge and community around human-centered design in New Zealand. The week’s success showed the demand for events with this focus.

Experience Week 2018 was a Wellington-wide festival with 27 events across 5 days, attended by 300 people.

While a success, after feedback from event partners and attendees, the name Experience Week didn’t sum up our hopes for the event.

So for 2019 onwards, we present Mindset of Design, or MOD for short.
